A Synergy of hundreds Environmental Heroes: WWCA, Polindo Utama, and POPSEA Celebrate Mother’s Day & APPI’s 1st Anniversary
BANTAR GEBANG – A powerful spirit of collaboration for a greener future illuminated Tanah Baru BGBJ, Bantar Gebang, on Saturday, December 27, 2025. This significant event, which brought together approximately 800 participants, was a successful collaboration between the Women Waste Collectors Association (WWCA), PT Polindo Utama, and POPSEA.
The gathering was held to honor Mother’s Day 2025 and to celebrate the 1st Anniversary of the Asosiasi Pemulung Perempuan Indonesia (APPI), also known as the WWCA. Under the theme “Empowered Women, Protected Environment,” the event served as a platform to appreciate the women at the forefront of the circular economy.
A Tripartite Alliance for Sustainability
The success of this celebration highlights the vital synergy between three organizations dedicated to environmental and social impact:
- WWCA (APPI): As a community for women waste collectors, WWCA empowers its members to play an active role in environmental conservation while supporting their family’s economy.
